2026
This Kanyangareng River Carnival will be a joyful celebration of culture, music and community along the river. Festivities begin on 4th January with a warm and excitingCamp Fire Night, where people gather to sing, dance, and share stories under the stars. On carnival day 5th, the riverbank will come alive with color, traditional performances, happy crowds, and unforgettable moments that bring everyone together, Later in the evenings of the day there will bea river carnival Extension for persons above 18 years of age, making the celebration truly unforgettable.
2022
In 2022, our Annual Excursion took us beyond Uganda’s borders to Makutano and Kitale in Kenya. The trip was filled with memorable learning moments, cultural exposure, and fun activities. Participants enjoyed time at the swimming pool, team-building experiences, and the excitement of exploring a new environment together. It was a refreshing and energizing adventure that strengthened bonds within the Creation Steppers community.
2023
The 2023 excursion led us to Kapchorwa, home of the breathtaking Sipi Falls. This trip offered a blend of adventure, nature appreciation, and relaxation. Members experienced scenic hikes, cascading waterfalls, and the cool, refreshing atmosphere of the highlands. It was a memorable journey that encouraged exploration, friendship, and appreciation of Uganda’s natural beauty.
2024
Our 2024 excursion was one of the biggest and most exciting trips we have ever organized. We visited Moruajore National Park within the Nakapiripirit Game Reserve, a destination rich in wildlife and natural scenery. Participants enjoyed guided tours, wildlife viewing, cultural interactions, and team-building activities. The trip left lasting memories and inspired a deeper appreciation for conservation and adventure.
2025
in 2025, we made a pre-visit to Jinja in preparation for our next excursion. Although the full trip did not take place as planned, the pre-visit allowed our team to explore possible sites, assess activities, and plan for future experiences. The journey still provided inspiration, learning, and an opportunity to connect as we prepared for upcoming Annual Excursion adventures.
